CadCon was contracted to supply a surveyor on site to perform various duties at the George Fisher underground mine in Mount Isa. Underground mining surveying consists of the setting out of the design position of bolts using various techniques as well as drilling control and design marks into the rock at design positions, all 1km below the surface of the earth.
